Fic Commissions for the Star Trek panel at Tumblcon!
So I never do this, but: We fucking need a Star Trek panel at Tumblcon. I mean, really - what would Tumblr be without Star Trek? A frightening place devoid of Space Husbands, that’s what. Devoid of fatshirts, Pinto, and bad-ass Uhura. Devoid of ridiculous gifs of slashiness. Possibly devoid of - le gasp - creeper pics of young William Shatner. I mean, let’s be real, Tumblr just wouldn’t be Tumblr without us Trekkies and Trekkers. So let’s make this panel happen, yeah? Yeah. Let’s represent.The Star Trek Tumblcon Committee needs $1000 before March 31st to make it happen. So I’m offering fic commissions of $10 a piece to try to pitch in. Deets below the cut. But if you hate my writing, you can also directly donate at the committee’s tumblr. JUST DO EET, SPREAD THE WORD.
Now, onto commission deets:
- I’ve been writing fic for eons under the name rainbowstrlght. You can check out my fanfics at AO3.
- I am offering works for $10 a prompt, without an agreed minimum or maximum. Mainly because I suck at guessing lengths, and also because I spend a gadzillion hours on fanfic regardless of it being 1,000 words or 10,000 /perfectionist.
- By commissioning my fic, you agree to allowing me some time to complete it. I’m in college right now with a heavy course load, so I’m asking for a few months. Like, ‘til June at least.
- I am willing to write Kirk/Spock, Scotty/Uhura, Bones/Gaila, Wesley/Riker, Riker/Troi, Pinto, Shatnoy, Cumberbatch/Hardy, and femslash of various types. I am well-versed in TOS, Reboot, and most of TNG and the movies. I also love AUs like burning and even prefer them.
- Prompts can be general or specific, but know that I have artistic license to tweak or request a different idea.
